Registration, make, model and its current condition.
- 2

Your postcode and whether you need it collected.

So our team can get back to you.
- 4
We contact you
We review your enquiry and contact you to discuss a quote and next steps.
Request a scrap car quote
It only takes a couple of minutes. This is a quote request — we don’t show automated valuations; a member of the team will review your vehicle and contact you.

What happens to your car
Your old car, back on the road
01
Assessed
We check your vehicle and identify the components that can be reused.
02
Looked at inside and out
Engine, chassis, suspension and electrics are all examined, not just the bodywork.
03
Carefully dismantled
Reusable parts are removed by hand so they can keep other cars running.
04
Parts back in service
Recovered parts are inspected and listed for drivers who need them.
What documents will I need?
You'll normally need the vehicle's V5C registration certificate (logbook) and photo ID. If you don't have the V5C, let us know in the comments and we'll advise.
What is a Certificate of Destruction?
When a car is scrapped in the UK it must be processed by an Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF), which issues a Certificate of Destruction (CoD) and notifies the DVLA that the vehicle has been destroyed.
Can I be paid in cash?
No. Under the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013 it is illegal for scrap vehicles to be paid for in cash in England and Wales. Payment is made by a traceable method such as bank transfer.
Is submitting the form a booking?
No. The form sends us an enquiry. Nothing is booked, and no price is agreed, until a member of our team has contacted you and you've confirmed.
What if my car doesn't run or has parts missing?
That's fine — just tell us the condition and what's missing on the form so we can give you an accurate response.
